Living with Dinosaurs
Work on the new The Living with Dinosaurs exhibit for the Refuge Education Center moves forward toward a January 2013 unveiling to commemorate the third anniversary of the Refuge’s beloved female crocodile’s death in January 2010.
The exhibit will include the articulated skeleton of the Refuge croc against a life-sized photo background of her when she was alive and roamed the island. Signage and cool interactive components will interpret the exhibit and teach visitors about crocodilians, true living dinosaurs.
The Living Dinosaur exhibit was made possible with a $10,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation and additional generous support from Society members Bill and Annie Vanderbilt and John and Kathy McCabe.
